She finds joy in the "visual blunders" of signing, the power of drawing, and the universal language of gestures that transcend spoken borders. Koon Wei is a pioneering member for Sign Language Bible Translation (SLBT) in Malaysia. She has served full-time since 2013 as a sign linguistics expert and veteran worker, where she trains and empowers other SLBT teams.
