Speaker’s Profile
Brian is a lifelong multilinguist and language coach dedicated to demystifying the art of language acquisition. He focuses on helping learners move past the fear of making mistakes to find the joy in communication Over the last decade, he has expanded his repertoire to include Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Bahasa Indonesia, Tok Pisin, Spanish, Japanese, and Jordanian Arabic. Brian believes that language is inseparable from culture; he enjoys learning the recipes and songs of languages he studies.
Beyond his coaching, Brian is a family man with three adult children. His passion for language even extends to the next generation—his son holds a PhD in Computer Science (AI), with his doctoral dissertation on Search function in Sign Language Scriptures.
