Throughout history, people have used stories to tell about events, teach and communicate. Bible storying involves crafting stories that are true to the original Bible text but designed to be told orally in a natural, engaging way that is easily reproducible. People filling this role will work in a storying project among one or more people groups and will receive coaching and guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Identify features of natural stories in the people group's language.

• Research the worldview of the people group.

• Participate in checking the crafted stories.

• Train, mentor and coach others in the storying project.

Requirements:

• Basic education in orality and storying (will receive training)

• Previous cross-cultural experience is beneficial.

• Other training may be required by individual projects.
