Goal:

The Kala people live in a fertile river valley located in a beautiful tourist region of Asia. Some are subsistence farmers, but others run businesses and have become quite wealthy.

The people group migrated eastwards from central Asia about 400 years ago. Nearly all belong to a major religion, with only a handful of known Christians. The first known believer came to faith in 2006 and there is currently no local church to speak of.

The national language is the main language used outside the home, but Kala families still use their own language in the home.

There was no scripture in this language at the time this project began. This project aims to translate the entire Bible and share it with the Kala people.
