With an unquenchable passion for missions, Mike and Eve served for 21 years (1989-2010) in Papua, Indonesia and Kenya, East Africa, and then with Wycliffe Bible Translators at JAARS, a partner of Wycliffe located in Waxhaw, North Carolina (2010-2015). In July 2015, they returned to Indonesia with Wycliffe Bible Translators and currently serve with a team in Kupang, West Timor.

About the speaker:

Mike and his wife, Eve, have served in the mission field since 1989, and have been based in West Timor since 2015.

Mike and Eve serve alongside their Indonesian colleagues at the UBB (Language and Culture unit) office, facilitating translation and literacy projects to some of the 66+ mother tongue languages in the West Timor province. Eve serves as a literacy and education specialist in Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) with the local church.
