About The Event

Topic: Looking Ahead

Speaker: Albert Fung

Bible translation is flourishing around the world, and the number of languages with Scriptures is increasing every year. However, there is still much work to be done. Yet it isn't easy to recruit young people to work overseas! Why is that? Has the way young people think about ministry changed? Or has the world, or the ministry, changed?

Albert, Director of Wycliffe Taiwan, will talk about Wycliffe Taiwan’s response to these challenges, and their strategies for recruiting a younger generation to do this important work.

About the speaker:

Albert Fung has served in various fields, including 7 years in the Cibarut (Africa) project. He has 20 years of national and international experience in various Wycliffe and related organisations. He has been the director of Wycliffe Taiwan since 2015 and practises dentistry on a part-time basis.
