About The Event

Topic: Feeding the Mobile Masses

Speaker: Jim Moore

How can language communities use digital technologies to provide wider access to spiritual content in a language the people can understand clearly? Kalaam Media, an internet publishing service, was started in 2011 and its services have made literacy, cultural and spiritual content freely accessible through websites and mobile apps in the heart languages of the communities they serve.

Come hear from Jim, the Managing Director of Kalaam Media, as he shares about digital publishing—why it is important and how it plays a role in missions.

About the speaker:

Jim and his wife, Ginger, support Bible translation and Scripture engagement globally through digital publishing and nursing.

Jim leads the Kalaam Media team which participates in the global effort to assist language communities to have their own internet presence. Since initiating services in 2011, they have offered training to many communities across the world, and have become a worldwide provider of creation and hosting services for multilingual websites and mobile apps.

Ginger also works part-time at the JAARS (Jungle Aviation and Radio Service) clinic as a nurse. She uses her years of experience as an emergency room nurse to help Wycliffe missionaries who are on home assignment or serving at JAARS.
